2011

Merry Christmas (yesterday :)
2011 has been a great for the Wilkey family. Here are some of our highlights:

Blain and Heidi

We had fun on our yearly get away. This year Blain took Heidi to New York City where we met up with our good friends for a few days.

We spent many hours building on to our backyard swing set. Now we have a fortress!

We started, worked on, and finished our back patio area complete with a fire pit for the many times we light fires...not this year.

We were asked to be a "Ma and Pa" for our Stake Youth Conference pioneer trek to Martin's Cove in Wyoming, which was a wonderful experience. Here's our cute little family.

Our biggest highlight is that we are expecting number 5 in February and we couldn't be more excited!

Christian

Turned 15 this year and started 9th grade which is in the High School here so he is officially a big kid. He continues to play the piano and is now working at his piano academy once a week along with his own hour and a half lesson. He loves football even though he had to sit this season out with a torn ACL.

He recently finished his Eagle Project and had his Board of Review. He passed so he is now an Eagle Scout. We will be having his Court of Honor sometime soon.

He had such a great time at EFY (Especially For Youth) at BYU that he is saving up to go again next summer. You can maybe see why!

Addy

This year Addy turned 8 and chose to be baptized. We are so pleased with her decision.

For her birthday we had a beach party complete with pedicures for all the girls.

She is our stylish one and loves to dress up in Heidi's really cool, stylish clothes, do her makeup and put on shows.
Fashion show with friends and little sister
Sleepover at Grandma Sally's
She is also signed up for Jr. Jazz basketball which she will start in Jan.

Jack

Loves candy! He can smell it if it is even in the house. He turned 6 this year and started first grade. He is still the tease of the family and is very ticklish.

Jack loves to play games, laugh, and have fun. He is very kind and tenderhearted as well.

Although Jack is probably our most athletically inclined child, he is our least competitive so he never wants to participate in group sports :( He is a very good skier though, which works out nice since Blain gets free ski passes for all of us from work at Sundance.

Lauren

Is growing up so fast. With 3 older siblings she does her very best to keep up with them. Everyday she makes us laugh with all the crazy things she says and does.

Here she made herself a tree frog

She took a cheer clinic with Addy but wouldn't cheer.

She is very smart and can already read small books. She has finished her kindergarten level school book and is now starting her first grade book. Not bad for a 3 year old.

Most of all we want to say we are grateful for this time of year that helps us focus more on our Savior, His birth and His life.
Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012!
